Watch some videos. Those who are into anime or are looking for "old school" series episodes (my latest discovery was episodes from Doug) this is a good place to watch whatever floats your boat.

This site is great, if you haven't seen it, look at it.
It's not as high tech as myspace, but the people are nicer, and there's a lot less phishing to worry about. From my experience so far I'd recommend it to anyone just looking to reach out a bit.
